In John 19, Jesus is on the way to the cross. On the way, Jesus has a very interesting and very relatable interchange with a guy named Pontius Pilate. Pilate asks Jesus, "What is truth?" This is a question that our world is wrestling with today perhaps more than ever. Sometimes it is very hard for us to delineate between our desires, our perspectives, our preferences, and THE truth. The reality is, truth is not an ever changing thing based on our life's experiences. Truth is absolute and constant for everyone, everywhere, at all times. Truth is also not just something we believe, it is someone we follow. Jesus is the truth and this weekend we unpacked what happens when our truth collides with his in a message called, “You’re Not The Pilot.”
